Hans van den Nieuwendijk was the senior-producer in the Washington Bureau of NOS, Dutch Public Broadcasting from  2002 to 2006.
Before he came to the US I already worked with Hans since he had already been senior foreign editor at the NOS Headquarters in Hilversum, The Netherlands for a number of years. 
I was truly happy when he joined the Washington Bureau since I knew that was a very reliable and above all knowledgeable journalist and producer.
